Renal Access Network - community based support group for dialysis and transplant patients.

Renal Access Network was founded in September, 2019 to support dialysis patients and help them gain knowledge regarding their treatment and condition. We saw a need for a group that would support the people in our communty, specifically Black American dialysis patients. Honest and candid communication of our experiences as dialysis patients and kidney recipients is what we want to share with patients, stressing the importance of discipline and compliance to the doctor’s instructions, and empowering them to take control of their health conditions. Spouses and significant others are also welcomed and encouraged as the patients’ support system of loved ones, family and friends.
Renal Access Network received its 501(c)(3) non-profit status in December, 2019. Our vision is that our network will not only touch our immediate Black American community, but will reach other large cities and small rural towns across our country.
Our mission and goals are accomplished with a strong devotion through informational and motivational seminars, workshops, and support group meetings.
